Overview of Tariff Adjustments

Effective immediately, the Executive Order introduces revised reciprocal tariff rates to align with global trade dynamics and address retaliatory measures by trading partners.
These changes aim to promote fair trade practices while supporting domestic industries.
Updated Tariff Structure
  1. Products Originating from China, Hong Kong, or Macau
    • Applicable tariffs include:
      • Commodity-specific Most-Favored-Nation (MFN) ad valorem duty rate.
      • Section 301 (China) tariffs for Lists 1, 2, 3, 3b, and 4a (ranging from 7.5% to 25%).
      • Section 604 IEEPA (China/Hong Kong) tariff of 20%.
      • Section 301 Reciprocal Tariff of 125%.

  2. Products from All Other Countries
    • Applicable tariffs include:
      • Commodity-specific MFN ad valorem duty rate.
      • Section 301 Reciprocal Tariff of 10%.
Temporary Suspension of Country-Specific Rates

Country-specific tariff rates, excluding those for China, Hong Kong, and Macau, are suspended from 12:01 a.m. EDT on April 10, 2025, until 12:01 a.m. EDT on July 9, 2025.
During this period, the
10% reciprocal tariff rate will apply uniformly to products from all other countries.
